2023/2024 Studio Policies

  • Registration/Administration Fee:

    Once per year, a $32 + HST non-refundable registration fee applies to each individual dancer that is registered to a maximum of $50 + HST per family (registration fee does NOT apply to summer programs or workshops and ONLY applies to full year recreational classes)

    Classes run from September to June the same as the school year. Registration commitment is for the entire season.

    Payment Plan:

    All families must provide a method of pre-authorized payment through the parental portal.

    Payment options include: Debit, VISA, and M/C.

    Pre-authorized banking or credit card information must be provided at the time of registration for all subsequent installments.

    All full season (September - June) tuition pricing will be divided into 10 equal installments, unless the balance is paid in full.

    The first installment is due upon registration and is required in order to hold your dancer’s spot in class.

    Each subsequent payment is due on the first of each month (October 1st - June 1st) and will automatically be charged to the card on file.

    please note: some months have more classes than others. Payment plans do not reflect the number of classes offered per month but rather an equal division of the full year’s tuition amount.

    Tuition payments will be automatically charged to the card on file on the first of each month, unless arranged otherwise. Payments will be charged until a written notification of withdrawal has been received. Failure to attend classes does NOT result in automatic withdrawal and fees will still be charged. There will be NO reimbursement for classes not taken. There will be NO reimbursement of partial month of classes.

    Late Payment:

    Any payments more than 10 days late, no matter the cause, will be subject to a $20.00 late fee/payment.

    Failure to make a payment will result in the removal of your dancer from their class and/or summer program until all outstanding payments have been made. This policy is strictly enforced.

  • Withdrawal & Refunds Policy - FULL SEASON CLASSES

    Notification Period and Withdrawal Date:

    A minimum of seven days' written notice is required before the end of the month to initiate a withdrawal from the program.

    Withdrawals are accepted until March 18th, 2024.

    Late Withdrawals:

    Withdrawals made after March 18th, 2024, will not be eligible for refunds.

    All outstanding amounts shall remain due and payable.

    Withdrawal Fees:

    If withdrawing before March 18th:

    Tiny class: $20.00 withdrawal fee per class

    Petite & Up classes: $30.00 withdrawal fee per class

    No fees will be refunded once a term (month) has commenced.

    Non-Refundable Fees:

    Registration, Recital, and Costume fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

    Withdrawal & Refunds Policy - DAY CAMPS

    Deposit Requirement:

    A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the camp fee is due upon registration to secure your child's spot.

    Balance Processing:

    The remaining balance will be automatically processed on the first day of the month in which the camp runs.

    Withdrawal Period and Refunds:

    If withdrawal occurs less than 14 days prior to the camp, no refunds will be issued.

    Withdrawals more than 14 days before the camp start date will receive a 70% refund, considering the non-refundable deposit.

    Withdrawal & Refunds Policy - INTENSIVES/WORKSHOPS

    Withdrawals are permitted up until the 1st of the month of the intensive/workshop with no penalty. No fees will be refunded after the 1st.

  • Classes that fall on a statutory holiday will not be made-up.

    Classes not attended due to dancer illness or otherwise will not be made-up.

    Classes cancelled due to inclement weather will not be made-up.

    Families are notified of cancelled classes by email. Cancellations are also posted on our social media pages.

  • A legal parent or guardian must agree to allow and give permission to Impact Dance Complex to use any photos or video footage of their child/children (ie. class instruction, rehearsals, or performances) for promotional, social media, and advertising use and purposes, should Impact Dance Complex choose to do so in regards to the advertising of Impact Dance Complex.

    Exceptions can be made, please contact Miss.Linnea if you would like your family to be excluded from promotional material.

  • Upon registration, all families must supply Impact Dance complex with a phone number and email of a parent and/or guardian as email is the primary method of communication.

    It is understood that families are to read all emails from Impact Dance Complex in their entirety to ensure all information is communicated.

    All personal contact information will remain strictly confidential with Impact Dance Complex and will not be shared.

  • Negative and inappropriate behavior (deemed by Impact Dance Complex) which can include gossiping, bullying, physical altercations or negative comments will not be tolerated and may result in removal from a routine, the competitive company, or expulsion with no refund of tuition.

    At Impact Dance Complex., our goal is to provide a fun and positive learning environment for children where they can express themselves through the art of dance. We will provide high-quality training with educated and experienced teachers. We hope to instill and teach work ethic in our dancers so that they can feel and be proud of their successes.

    Our students and parents - without exception - are expected to treat each other and their teachers, their parents with the highest level of respect.

    Dancer’s must abide by the dress code. Dancers who do not abide by the dress code will not be allowed to participate in class. More than two instances of failure to comply will result in disciplinary action.

    Dancer’s must keep their belongings organized and clean and to leave all areas in the same condition or better than they found it at classes, rehearsals and performances.

    Dancers must report any injury occurring while in class, at rehearsal, or at all performance immediately to their instructors, or whoever is in charge of them at the time.

    All dancers must be toilet-trained, unless participating in a class where they are accompanied by a parent/guardian.

    Prohibited items are jewelry, chewing gum, perfume/cologne, snacks with peanuts, nuts or nut products, offensive language or innuendo on clothing.

    Requirements of Participation in Activities Policy

    Dancers must meet the minimum age requirements.

    Dance instruction requires that the dancers are physically capable of moving, capable of following instructions and communicating.

    Impact Dance Complex reserves the right to request that students who do not participate in class, are habitually late or habitually in violation of the dress code or other studio rules, withdraw from the studio.

    All dancers must be physically capable to participate without danger to themselves or others.
